Q: How long does a site survey take?
A: Site surveys for satellite installation take on average between 1 and 2 hours and are best arranged so they may be completed in daylight hours.
Q: What is a Site Survey?
A: A Site Survey is an evaluation of your residence to ensure:
- The availability of the required satellite or internet services at your geographic location
- Recommend an optimal location for the placement of the reception equipment
- Recommend cable routes, switch locations, and termination methods
Q: Won’t the Bell TV (formerly ExpressVuTM) installer perform this task without charge ?
A: Yes and No – the installer will of course assess your residence/business for available Line Of Sight to the transmitting satellite(s) to ensure signal reception complying with Bell TV (formerly ExpressVu
TM) standards. He will also ensure that his methods comply with Bell tv (formerly ExpressVu
TM) standards.
What he cannot provide is the attention to detail, customization, and aesthetic considerations of the installation under the Bell TV (formerly ExpressVu
TM) National Install program as administered by Bell TV (formerly ExpressVu
TM). We fill that gap.
